These terms govern Custify Academy at custify.com/academy (the "Academy"), including the course Customer Success Fundamentals and any course added later. They apply to everyone who creates an Academy account, buys a course or redeems a coupon. The Custify Master Services Agreement at custify.com/terms covers the Custify software product and does not apply to the Academy.
The Academy is run by Custify SRL, Zagazului Street No. 4E, Entrance A, First Floor, ap. 1A, District 1, Bucharest, Romania, Tax ID RO38229657 ("Custify", "we"). You can reach us at contact@custify.com.
1. Who can use the Academy
You must be at least 18 years old. You may buy for yourself, or your company may buy for you. Each account is for one person: the name on the account is the name printed on the certificate, and an account cannot be shared or transferred.
2. Your account
You create an account with your name, email address and a password, or through Google sign-in. Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account until you tell us it has been compromised. We may close an account that is used to share access, copy course materials or interfere with the Academy.
You can delete your account by writing to contact@custify.com. Deleting the account removes your progress. A certificate already issued stays valid and its verification page stays online, unless you ask us to remove it as well.
3. What you buy
A course is a set of online video lessons, a quiz after each lesson, downloadable resource guides and a certificate of completion. Customer Success Fundamentals has nine video lessons in two modules, nine quizzes, two resource guides and one certificate. The course page shows the exact content at the time of purchase.
Access opens as soon as payment is confirmed, or as soon as a valid coupon is redeemed. Lessons unlock in order: each one opens once the previous lesson is completed and its quiz is passed.
4. How long access lasts
Paid access does not expire. You can revisit the course after finishing it, and your progress and certificate stay in your account. If we ever retire a course, we will give at least 90 days' notice by email and let you download the resource guides and your certificate first.
5. Price, tax and invoices
The price is shown on the course page in US dollars, excluding VAT. VAT is calculated at checkout from your billing country and, for businesses, your VAT number. Payment is taken by card through Stripe. Custify never sees or stores your card details.
A company can pay: enter the company name, billing address and VAT or tax ID at checkout, and the invoice is issued to the company. The invoice is emailed after payment.
We may change prices at any time. A change never affects a purchase already made.
6. Coupons
A coupon opens the course without payment. Each coupon works once, for one account, and cannot be resold, exchanged for money or transferred. A coupon that has already been used, or that we did not issue, does not work. We may cancel access opened with a coupon that was obtained through fraud.
7. Right of withdrawal and refunds
If you buy as a consumer in the European Union, you can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of payment, for any reason, and get a full refund. Write to contact@custify.com from the email address on your account; the refund goes back to the card you paid with within 14 days of your request, and your access closes. The right ends early once you have completed the course and your certificate has been issued: at that point the content has been fully delivered. Business purchases, where a company name and VAT ID are entered at checkout, are not consumer purchases and carry no withdrawal right; they can still ask for a refund within 14 days if the course could not be delivered for a reason on our side.
After the 14 days, refunds are given only if the course cannot be delivered because of a fault on our side, for example if video playback is unavailable for more than 72 hours. No refund is due for access opened with a coupon, since nothing was paid.
8. The certificate
We issue the certificate of completion once every lesson is completed and every quiz is passed with a score of at least 75%. Quizzes can be retaken as many times as you like, and your best score counts. The certificate carries your name as entered in your account, optionally your company, the course title, your final score, the date and a unique ID.
Every certificate has a public verification page at custify.com/academy/certificate/ followed by its ID, showing the holder's name, company if entered, the course, the date and the score. The page exists so that anyone the holder shares it with can confirm the certificate is genuine, and it may be found through search engines. The holder can ask us to take the page offline at contact@custify.com.
The certificate confirms completion of the course. It is not an accredited qualification, and it does not entitle the holder to use the Custify name or logo beyond stating that they completed the course.
9. Your licence to the course materials
The videos, guides, quizzes, text and design of the Academy belong to Custify and its licensors. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to watch and read them for your own learning. You may not download or record the videos, share your account, put the materials on another platform, use them to build a competing course, or use them to train an AI model. The resource guides may be kept and used for your own work, not resold or republished.
10. What you post
You can ask questions under lessons and, after finishing, leave a review. Your name is shown next to what you post, and reviews appear on the public course page. By posting, you allow Custify to show your content, shorten it and remove it. Keep it on topic and lawful; we remove anything abusive, promotional or off topic.
11. Changes to the course and to the Academy
We may add lessons, modules or courses, update videos and guides, and change the platform. Content you have paid for stays available under section 4. We may take the Academy down briefly for maintenance and will try to do that outside working hours.
12. Our liability
We provide the Academy with reasonable care and skill, as the law requires. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable when you bought the course, for losses caused by something outside our reasonable control, or for business losses if you are a consumer. For business buyers, our total liability under these terms is limited to the price paid for the course. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury or fraud, and nothing takes away the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
13. Ending your access
We can end your access without a refund if you seriously breach these terms, in particular by sharing your account, copying or redistributing course materials, or attempting to interfere with the Academy. We will tell you why by email.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there. Business disputes go to the courts of Bucharest, Romania. Consumers in Romania can also contact the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC); consumers elsewhere in the EU can contact their national consumer body.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. A change does not affect a purchase already made, except where the law requires it.
