Custify Academy is run by Custify SRL in Bucharest, Romania, and follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This page tells you, in short, what that means for you. The full detail is in the Academy privacy policy at custify.com/academy/privacy.
What we hold about you
- Your account: name, email address, optional company.
- Your course activity: lessons completed, quiz scores, questions you posted, last visit.
- Your purchase: amount, date, payment reference and billing details for the invoice. No card numbers.
- Your certificate, if issued: name, course, score, date, certificate ID.
- Your review, if you left one.
Where it is stored
In the European Union. The database and login run in Frankfurt, Germany (Supabase), the application in Frankfurt (Vercel), email in Ireland (Resend). Payments run through Stripe. Video plays from Adilo. Analytics and advertising tags, if you accepted them, are listed in the privacy policy.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can:
- see the data we hold about you (access);
- have it corrected (rectification);
- have it deleted (erasure), except records we must keep by law, such as invoices;
- receive it in a portable format (portability);
- limit or object to how we use it (restriction, objection);
- withdraw a consent you gave, for example for analytics cookies or a review;
- not be subject to automated decisions with legal effects; we make none;
- complain to a supervisory authority. In Romania: ANSPDCP, B-dul G-ral Gheorghe Magheru 28-30, Bucharest, dataprotection.ro. Elsewhere in the EU: your national authority.
How to use them
Write to contact@custify.com from the email address on your account and say what you want. We answer within one month, free of charge. For deletion, tell us whether you also want your certificate page taken offline.
What you can do yourself, without writing: change your name, company and password on your account page; edit or delete your review; change your cookie choices from the footer link.
